Description

At 120 eggs the stakes change. A four-hour power cut on day 19 is no longer an inconvenience, it is the whole season. This unit runs on household power and switches to a 12V battery when the grid drops.

Why breeders pick this one

  • Power failure does not end the hatch. A 110V cord and a 12V battery cable both connect at once. When the power goes, incubation continues.
  • Four species presets, plus manual. Chicken, duck, goose and quail modes set temperature, humidity and turning for you. Manual mode is there when you are running something the presets do not cover.
  • An alarm threshold you choose. Set how far the temperature may drift before it alerts you, so you are not woken by noise that does not matter and you are woken by noise that does.
  • Water without opening the lid. An external port and an adjustable vent let you tune humidity through every stage, with an alarm at ±10% deviation.

Read this before you order

It ships in two layers. The second-tier components arrive in a separate box inside the packaging and need assembling. Keep the protective foam — in a cold or well-ventilated room, lining the base and sides with it reduces heat loss and helps the unit hold temperature.

Load the eggs round end to round end, pointed end to pointed end, evenly spaced. Clustered eggs slide during automatic turning.

Common questions

What happens during a power cut?
The unit switches to 12V battery power automatically and keeps incubating. Connect the battery cable at the start of the cycle, not after the lights go out.

Do the preset modes really set everything?
They set temperature, humidity target and turning interval for that species. You still handle lockdown yourself — raising humidity and leaving the lid shut for the final three days.

Can I run a staggered set in it?
You can, but a single machine cannot hold two humidity levels at once. Serious staggered hatching works better with this as the incubator and a smaller unit as a dedicated hatcher.

Why does the room feel cool even with the temperature set correctly?
The control system holds its set point, but a cold or draughty room pulls heat out faster than the heater replaces it. Line the base and sides with the packing foam and keep the unit away from vents and windows.

Care & cleaning

Unplug the incubator and let it cool before cleaning. Wipe the shell and the clear dome with a soft cloth and warm water with a little mild soap, then dry completely. Never submerge the base, and keep water away from the heating element and the fan.

Clean the tray and the water channels after every hatch. Shell fragments and membrane left behind are what cause bacterial problems in the next batch. Let every part dry fully before you store the unit.

Warranty

Every incubator is covered against manufacturing defects for 3 years from the delivery date. If the thermostat, the fan or the turner motor fails within that period, contact us with your order number and we will repair or replace the unit at our cost.

The warranty does not cover damage from drops, liquid inside the base, or use outside the stated temperature range.
