Description
A power cut on day 19 is the failure nobody plans for. This unit is wired to both household power and a 12V battery at the same time, and switches between them on its own — in either direction.
Why hatchers pick this one
- Automatic switching, both ways. When mains power drops it moves to the battery; when power returns it moves back. You do not have to be in the room for either.
- Turning every 90 minutes. A 200-second rotation distributes heat evenly. Mark a few eggs with a pencil if you want to see it working.
- 360° circulating airflow. A built-in fan keeps temperature and humidity even across the tray rather than warm at the centre and cool at the edges.
- Rollers that adjust. 36 chicken eggs, or 12 duck, 6 goose, 24 pigeon — the same tray, respaced.
Read this before you order
No water bottle is included. The automatic water base is supplied; the bottle is not. Any clean bottle works, or you can add water through the port at the base without opening the cover.

Common questions
How do I start the turner?
Press the plus button once at the beginning of the cycle. It then runs automatically every 90 minutes until you stop it for lockdown on day 18.
How do I check the turner is really working?
Mark a few eggs with a pencil number on one side. Come back in two hours; if the numbers have moved, the tray is turning.
Is it suitable for a classroom?
Yes, and the battery backup covers the weekend outage that a school building will not tell you about until Monday.
What humidity should I hold?
45–50% from day 1 to day 17, then 65–70% for lockdown from day 18. Run the lower end of each range if your home is already humid.

Care & cleaning
Unplug the incubator and let it cool before cleaning. Wipe the shell and the clear dome with a soft cloth and warm water with a little mild soap, then dry completely. Never submerge the base, and keep water away from the heating element and the fan.
Clean the tray and the water channels after every hatch. Shell fragments and membrane left behind are what cause bacterial problems in the next batch. Let every part dry fully before you store the unit.
Warranty
Every incubator is covered against manufacturing defects for 3 years from the delivery date. If the thermostat, the fan or the turner motor fails within that period, contact us with your order number and we will repair or replace the unit at our cost.
The warranty does not cover damage from drops, liquid inside the base, or use outside the stated temperature range.
